- Invoice Simple's phone apps are native, downloaded from the App Store and Play Store, and work fully offline. Ours is a web app you add to your home screen, and it needs a connection.
- If you want an app icon that came from the store and never think about it again, that is a fair reason to choose them.
Where InvoiceCharlie is the better choice
- You are not on a subscription: $1 per invoice with a $12 monthly ceiling, or $99 a year if you would rather fix the cost.
- Quotes that a client accepts online, recurring invoices and billable expenses are included rather than being reasons to move up a plan.

If you work somewhere with no signal, their offline app is the better tool and that is a real difference, not a quibble. If you are online and send invoices in bursts, paying per invoice with a ceiling will almost always cost less than a subscription.
