Is it really free to start?
Yes. Your first 10 invoices are free, with every feature included and no card. They carry a small “Sent with InvoiceCharlie” footer, which disappears the moment you add a card.
What happens after that?
Add a card and pay $1 an invoice, capped at $12 a month, so a busy month never costs more than $12. One charge at the end of the month, never $1 at a time. Or $99 a year, which includes 500 invoices a month.
Do my clients need an account?
No. They get an email with a link to view, download and pay the invoice. No logins, no apps.
How do I get paid?
Print your bank details on the invoice, or connect your own Stripe account for a Pay now button. Payments are marked on the invoice automatically.
Can I use it in my country and currency?
Yes. Every currency, your tax name (GST, VAT, sales tax…) and your date format. Multi-currency is included on every plan.
Can I switch from another tool?
Yes. Import your clients from a CSV export (Xero, QuickBooks, Wave, a spreadsheet), set your next invoice number so numbering continues seamlessly, and keep your old system for history.
