# InvoiceCharlie

> Create, send and get paid for invoices in seconds. Your first 10 invoices are free, then $1 per invoice, never more than $12/month.

InvoiceCharlie is invoicing software for sole traders and small businesses, made by Zeabyte Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. It runs in a web browser and installs to a phone home screen; there is no desktop download.

## Pricing (the whole of it)

- Free: the first 10 invoices, for the life of the account, with every feature included and no card required. These carry a small "Sent with InvoiceCharlie" line at the bottom of the invoice.
- Pay as you go: $1 per invoice sent, charged once at the end of the month, and never more than $12 in a month however many are sent.
- Yearly: $99 a year, with 500 invoices a month included.
- Every paid plan includes 500 invoices a month; beyond that another 500 costs $12, charged automatically, and sending is never blocked.
- AI assistant: every account gets 3 AI actions a month free; the optional add-on is $3 a month for 500 actions a month.
- Card payments taken through the app carry a platform fee of 0.5% on top of Stripe's own fee. Bank transfers and other manual payments carry no fee.
- Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.

## What it does

- Invoices, quotes and credit notes, with automatic numbering and your own logo and colour.
- Payment by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through the customer's own Stripe account, or printed bank details.
- Automatic payment reminders before and after the due date, and optional late fees.
- Recurring invoices, billable expenses with photographed receipts, and a client portal.
- Invoices in the client's own language: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.
- 12 invoice designs, every currency, and the right tax name for the country (GST, VAT, sales tax).
- An optional AI assistant that drafts an invoice or quote from a typed or spoken description and reads the amounts off a photographed receipt.
- Reports on what is owed, tax collected and expenses, with CSV export of everything.
- A free invoice generator at https://invoicecharlie.ai/tools/invoice-generator that needs no account at all.

## What it does not do

- It is not accounting software: no general ledger, no payroll, no bank reconciliation.
- It does not sell or share customer data, and does not use customer data to train AI models.

## Languages

The product interface is in English. Invoices can be written in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese. The marketing site is published in English, German (https://invoicecharlie.ai/de), French (https://invoicecharlie.ai/fr) and Dutch (https://invoicecharlie.ai/nl).

It is not suitable for domestic invoicing in Italy, Portugal or Spain, which require invoices to be filed through a state system or produced by certified software — SDI, ATCUD/QR and Verifactu respectively. It can still be used there for quotes, records and invoicing clients abroad.
